Blackhawks Pick Wiedeman as Broadcaster

The Hawks have picked this loser from the NY Islanders as their new announcer in the place of the venerated Pat Foley. Such is the lot of Hawks fans nowadays when their favorite announcer is dumped for no good reason and replaced by an idiot who was a failure in his previous broadcasting job.

Hawks Awake From Hibernation to Make Depressing Desperation Deal

Perennial Blackhawks dynamo Mark Bell along with Barinka and a draft pick has just been traded to Ottawa for a still named Martin Havlat and another loser named Bryan Smolinski.

This is most depressing as it means that team GM Dale Tallon has made a desperation trade and, barring a miracle, the Hawks will do even worse this coming season than last season.

No Pat Foley.

No Mark Bell.

No real hope for 2006-2007.
