Hawks Awake From Hibernation to Make Depressing Desperation Deal

Perennial Blackhawks dynamo Mark Bell along with Barinka and a draft pick has just been traded to Ottawa for a still named Martin Havlat and another loser named Bryan Smolinski.

This is most depressing as it means that team GM Dale Tallon has made a desperation trade and, barring a miracle, the Hawks will do even worse this coming season than last season.

No Pat Foley.

No Mark Bell.

No real hope for 2006-2007.
